Food For Thought

The most important thing to balance your mind, body, and spirit and overall well-being is NUTRITION. The healing properties of food are no mystery, they have been reported by cultures worldwide throughout history. In this country, the majority of the population is stuck on the Standard American Diet, full of processed, fake, genetically modified crap our government calls food. Food manufacturers manipulate a whole population by the products they make available at a cheap price. The way those foods are processed and the things that are added to them can decide the level of health that millions of people experience.

As Wendell Berry once said: People are fed by the food industry, which pays no attention to health, and are treated by the health industry, which pays no attention to food.

What does that leave us with? An obesity-plagued shit hole of a country the rest of the world secretly despises…

Let Food Be Thy Medicine And Medicine Be Thy Food

You literally are what you eat… It’s amazing how much the quality of living ameliorates when you change your diet.

For example, when I had an awakening of spirit last December, my diet went from a  SAD to completely vegan with emphasis on raw plant-based food in just 4 months… It was not forced, I did not want this to happen, it simply happened naturally as I continued to follow this spiritual path. Now I am always full of energy, my thoughts are positive, I am at peace with myself, and I have lost a lot of weight.

You don’t need medicine when food does the healing, and you don’t need healing when a good diet prevents disease in the first place.

It takes little effort to start eating a much higher percentage of raw foods. Your body is your temple so it will love you for it and may reward you in ways you never thought possible. Spiritual yogis, monks, nuns, shaman, and other practitioners have been using raw foods to help them attain enlightenment for ages.

Live plant-based food = higher vibrations =  more light = clear mind = spiritual awakening  = a better life! 

Less really is more! ♥
